Sabrina Long
Sabrina was born and raised in Munich, Germany. She moved to the Atlanta area in 1995. After graduating high school she earned her degree in Early Childhood Education and taught Pre-K, Kindergarten and privately tutored special needs children. Sabrina always dreamed of having a child of her own and a few years after getting married, her and her husband Corey, welcomed their daughter Bailey into the world. Sabrina quit her job to stay home and be a full time stay at home mom. That is the time when she found yoga and fell in love with how yoga made her feel. She started out following along with videos on the internet and then one day stumbled across Ember Hot Yoga being built in downtown woodstock. At first she wasn’t sure about doing a class in a heated room, but after a few tries she fell in love and signed up for her very first 30 day challenge. That is when her practice truly started and she hasn’t looked back since.
Sabrina loves the playfulness that a vinyasa class can provide. Flowing slowly with your breath and being able to twist or turn yourself upside down are some of her favorites to teach or do in a vinyasa class.
The challenge of the heat and balance in postures are what she loves most in Hot Sequence classes. She loves the fact that each Hot Sequence class feels different and can have different challenges, although the postures are always the same. The class always leaves her feeling energized, strong and accomplished. Even teaching Hot Sequence, she leaves feeling the energy from the students in the room.
Sabrina believes that yoga is for everyone. Sharing her passion for yoga and helping others find their path is what Sabrina finds most gratifying.
Sabrina now resides in Woodstock with her husband Corey, daughter Bailey and her two dogs. Outside of yoga she loves to spend time outside hiking, exploring and traveling with her family.
